SHINING STARS

AGES 3 - 5YRS

This class is designed to be an introduction to dance and musical theatre. In this 50 minute class dancers will learn basic techniques of Jazz dance.

BY AUDITION ONLY

Through an intense training program, dancers will be conditioned to build a competitive skill set, focusing on stretch and strength, technique, musicality, and choreography, to help them on their performance journey.

Are you ready to bust a move? Welcome to our Hip Hop class, tailor-made for young, aspiring dancers eager to get their groove on! In this energetic and engaging class, you'll get to dance along to some seriously catchy tunes that you just can't help but move to.

TECHNIQUE

This vocal technique class offers a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of healthy, confident singing. Each week, students will build a strong foundation by focusing on key elements such as breath control, posture and alignment, and vocal production.

AGES 5 & Up

Theresa maintains private classes where she coaches students on audition techniques, monologue reading and delivery, and preparations for auditions for fine arts programs at high school and post-secondary levels.

WHAT'S ON THIS SEASON

ABOUT US

FAME School of Performing Arts, founded in 2000, is designed as a unique program aimed at fostering the overall artistic development of young performers.  The students are involved in all aspects of performance: dancing, singing, acting, and even set design.  Skills such as character study and development, stage presence and public speaking, strength and coordination, creativity, self-confidence, discipline, and self-respect are emphasized.

TRIPLE THREAT MAKERS

Our Musical Theatre Programs provide students with in depth training in acting, singing, and dancing. Students will work from a script to build out a musical production; each week learning choreography, scene blocking, vocals and developing their stage presence.  

 

Here at FAME we pride ourselves on our unique approach to musical theatre. Each student will develop their skills alongside friends who come together every week to hone their talent and unleash their inner Broadway Star.
